DESCRIPTION:This Electrical Plan Reading class\, taught by Chad Constance of Rosendin Electric\, provides an introduction to reading and understanding electrical plans. Attendees will learn the basics of interpreting symbols\, notes\, and drawings related to lighting\, branch power\, single-line diagrams\, schedules\, and special systems.\n\n\nIn this class\, attendees will have a basic understanding of how to read and interpret electrical plans\, including:\n\nSymbols\, Notes\, and Abbreviations\nLighting Plans\nBranch Power\nSingle Line (One-line) Drawings\nSchedules (Panel and Fixture)\nSpecial Systems (Audio Visual\, Fire Alarm\, Telecom\, Security)\n\nThe Plan Reading series consists of these sessions: \n\nOverview and Introduction\, 5/7\nCivil Plans\, 5/22\nStructural Plans\, 6/5\nArchitectural Plans\, 6/18\nM&P Plans\, 7/8\nElectrical Plans\, 8/5\nSpecial Systems\, 8/19\n\nIt is recommended to participate in the all Plan Reading classes for the more thorough introduction to plan reading. If attending virtually \, you will miss some of the hands-on activities in the class. A virtual link will be sent a few days prior to the sessions.
