DESCRIPTION:This session launches the Academy’s Grasping the Fundamentals series. In this class\, taught by Anthony Jeffers of Hensel Phelps and Danielle Feroleto of Small Giants\, with a combined 50+ years experience\, participants learn the structure and interconnectedness of the industry of commercial real estate. In this 2.5 hour introduction class\, attendees will learn about important vocabulary/definitions\, acronyms\, roles on a jobsite\, industry leaders\, basic building materials\, and information they need to feel knowledgeable when talking to colleagues.\n\nThe Academy for Construction Excellence presents an 8-class series for those individuals new to the construction industry – whether new to their career and experienced professionals from other industries. Also invited? Those who need a refresher course!
