DESCRIPTION:In the first session in the Plan Reading series\, attendees will walk away with a solid foundation for interpreting and working with construction drawings.\n\n\n\nTopics for this first session include:\n\nintroduction to the general sheets\,\ninstructions on how to read a plan\,\nterminology\, symbols and abbreviations\,\nunderstanding scale and dimension\,\ndetails and callouts\,\nand much more.\n\n\nThe Plan Reading series consists of these sessions:\n\nOverview and Introduction to Reading Construction Plans\, 5/7\nCivil Plans\, 5/22\nStructural Plans\, 6/5\nArchitectural Plans\, 6/18\nM&P Plans\, 7/8\nElectrical Plans\, 8/5\nSpecial Systems\, 8/19\n\n\n\n\nIt is recommended to participate in the all Plan Reading classes for the more thorough introduction to plan reading.\nIf attending via Zoom\, you will miss some of the hands-on activities in the class.\nA Zoom link will be sent a few days prior to the sessions.
