This Academy session teaches attendees how to read construction drawings related to low-voltage systems that support building operations, safety, and communication. These systems are increasingly critical in commercial buildings and often require coordination across trades.
Attendees will learn:

Security systems (CCTV, card access, intrusion detection)

Data/telecom systems (structured cabling, fiber, server rooms)

Audio/visual systems (PA systems, digital signage, conference setups)

Building automation systems (BAS)

Nurse call, intercoms, and paging (in healthcare or education)

It is recommended to participate in all Plan Reading classes in-person. If attending virtually, you will miss the hands-on activities in this session.
