This session launches the Academy’s “Construction 101: Grasping the Fundamentals” series. In this class, taught by Anthony Jeffers of Hensel Phelps and Danielle Feroleto of Small Giants, with a combined 50+ years experience, participants learn the structure and interconnectedness of the industry of commercial real estate.
Attendees learn important vocabulary/definitions, acronyms, roles on a jobsite, key players in the industry, basic building materials and information they need to feel knowledgeable when talking to colleagues.

The Academy for Construction Excellence presents a series for those individuals new to the construction industry – whether new to their career and experienced professionals from other industries. Also invited? Those who need a refresher course!
Upon completion of these classes, attendees will have a strong knowledge base, creating confidence, knowing the key players and processes in commercial construction.
