Arizona’s prompt pay laws govern payment on most commercial and public sector construction projects in this state. These laws are designed to ensure timely payments to contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. To operate effectively within the framework of these statutes it is important that the rights, obligations, and remedies they create are understood at the project level.

Attendees can expect to learn:

  • Public and private sector timelines for payment
  • How to timely and properly object to payment applications
  • Stopping work for non-payment: when it can be done and how to do it
  • The express remedies for, and practical implications of, late payments

Who should attend?

  • Project Managers

If you are associated with AGC of Colorado, a Zoom link will be sent to you a few days prior to the session.
