John Murdough

Baker Tilly US, LLP

John Murdough is a partner emeritus with Baker Tilly US, LLP. As a member of the firm’s construction practice, John specializes in audit and accounting, tax issues, business and management consulting, business problem solving, and transition and strategic planning.

John has enriched the industry by teaching seminars for more than 25 years, including national and local classes for the Arizona Builders Alliance and the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association. John taught at Arizona State University’s graduate construction school for 10 years.

In 2014, he published and co-authored a book called, Managing the Profitable Construction Business.  In this book, readers can learn from experts and other business “turnaround” experts on how to take control of their contracting business and manage it through the natural highs and lows of the industry market. His deep knowledge of minimizing business risk partnered with positive and strategic management tactics helped many in the AEC/CRE Industry thrive.

John’s commitment to excellence and knowledge dissemination has empowered countless professionals, making him a respected figure in the field.
