Plan Reading: Civil Plans
This class provides attendees with an understanding of how civil plans define how the building fits on the site and how land grading, access, and stormwater will be managed.
Attendees will learn:
- How to read site layout and topography
- Grading, drainage, and utilities
- Site improvements and paving plans

- Structural Plans, 12/4/25
- Architectural Plans, 1/6/26
- Mechanical Plans, 1/27/26
- Plumbing Plans, 2/17/26
- Electrical Plans, 3/10/26
- Special Systems, 3/31/26
It is recommended to participate in all Plan Reading classes in-person. If attending virtually, you will miss the hands-on activities in this session.
